About the role
We are seeking a boots-on-the-ground leader to execute large-scale, mission-critical construction from groundbreaking through commissioning and handoff. Key responsibilities include:
- Own daily site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, GC relationships, and union representatives.
- Enforce safety and quality standards and drive schedules to aggressive delivery milestones.
- Read and interpret complex structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specs, and RFIs, and resolve field issues.
- Manage on-site logistics, materials, and equipment coordination.
- Report progress clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
You have led on-site construction on large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects. You have managed multiple subcontractors, GC relationships, and union representatives at once. You know building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards (OSHA, NFPA, NEC).
Qualifications
- Fluent in reading complex structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specs, and RFIs.
- Experience managing schedules, logistics, and on-site materials and equipment.
- Bonus: Experience in hyperscale data center construction (50MW+, $100M+ budgets), liquid cooling, or high-density power builds, and commissioning oversight.
