Data Center Security Officer

About the role

The Data Center Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, they will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol data center locations to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, following established protocols.
• Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and emergency response plans.

Requirements

• 1 year of prior experience in a security-related field.
• A valid Drivers License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of security systems and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
