Data Center Security Officer

About the role

The Data Center Security Officer position at Securitas Security Services is a full-time role located in Cheyenne, WY. The primary responsibilities include conflict resolution and de-escalation, frequent interactions with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues, ensuring post orders are followed, and completing assigned rounds. The ideal candidate should have impeccable customer service and team leadership skills, above average computer skills, and preferably experience in security, law enforcement, or the military.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Ensure all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for assigned site

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Above average computer / technology skills
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment
