Data Center Security Officer

About the role

Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, conducting interior and exterior patrols, preserving order, enforcing regulations, and providing customer service to client employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for the client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

• Comfortable using computers and technology.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Cell phone use not permitted while on site.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• Physical ability to walk up to 5 miles per day, stand and sit for extended periods.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting/moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Background in retail, food service, or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory.
