We are seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
The data center is located in Sterling, Virginia, and the position is based at the construction project site.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the overall administration, organization, and implementation of large data center electronic security installation projects.
- Responsible for the overall financial management of the project(s).
- Ensure on-time project completion.
- Coordinate and run project kick-off meetings (PKOM).
- Forecast cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
- Order materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare price proposals and change orders.
- Prepare monthly reports analyzing budget, schedule, cash flow, and manpower.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures, quality improvement, and incorporate best practices.
- Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
- Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (preferred EE or industry-related degree) with 5+ years of experience.
- Five years of construction experience working for an electrical or construction contractor.
- Experience working on construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
- Experience with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Experience with CPM Scheduling.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, and drawings.
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills; must be a problem owner/solver.
- Proven ability to effectively plan and organize one's own activities or the activities of others.
- Proficiency with computers, including MS Office, Blue Beam, and PDF.
Preferred Skills
- Accubid Estimating (or equivalent) directly related to electrical installations.
- Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling experience and proficiency (or equivalent).
- Ability and willingness to travel to project locations as needed.

Pay
USD $104,240.00 – USD $130,300.00 per year.
