About the role

Data Center Quality Assurance Inspectors inspect building systems, review contractor documents, monitor installations, and oversee corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect building systems, including mechanical and electrical, for compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Review contractor shop drawings and submittals to confirm alignment with project specifications.
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance tracking.
  • Oversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work and support final inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts.
  • Witness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-ups.
  • Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to confirm adherence to project specifications.
  • Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other inspectors to resolve issues.
  • Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate client Outage / Shutdown Procedure.
  • Coordinate GC Workplan and advise if the construction contractor fails to promptly remove, correct, or replace unacceptable construction work, and assess any delays caused by such failure.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Preferred: 7 years of experience with construction and/or quality management, CQM or other professional certifications, Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: BA/BS + four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Skills

  • Proficiency in quality assurance and inspection techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
