About the role

The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team manages construction activity within operational data center spaces, focusing on critical infrastructure improvement projects to optimize space, power, and cooling globally. As a Data Center Project Manager, you will serve as a technical resource, overseeing projects across electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines. You will identify areas for improvement, design and deploy innovative solutions, and ensure projects align with company strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and review projects across electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and act on data provided by other teams.
  • Design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Manage the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of critical data center equipment, engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations (e.g., Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
  • Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings for all domains.

Pay

Base salary range: $111,300.00 - $186,100.00 USD annually. Additional compensation may include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
