Data Center Project Manager - Construction
About the role
The Construction Team at Fluidstack is responsible for driving the planning, budgeting, and risk-management engine behind global data centers. They transform capacity targets into executable project plans and keep every stakeholder aligned from kickoff to customer handover. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive the planning, budgeting, and risk-management engine behind global data centers.
- Build integrated schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Own project budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and change-order governance.
- Facilitate phase-gate and design reviews, maintain RACI matrices and action logs.
- Manage contract lifecycles: RFP, bid analysis, award, PCO tracking, and close-out.
- Identify critical-path and long-lead risks and drive mitigation.
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams, develop staffing plans, and run standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager on the Construction Team, you will lead the planning, budgeting, and risk-management engine behind global data centers. Your responsibilities include:
- Transforming capacity targets into executable project plans.
- Aligning technical and commercial stakeholders under shared goals.
- Managing project budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and change-order governance.
- Facilitating phase-gate and design reviews, maintaining RACI matrices and action logs.
- Managing contract lifecycles: RFP, bid analysis, award, PCO tracking, and close-out.
- Identifying critical-path and long-lead risks and driving mitigation.
- Leading cross-functional delivery teams, developing staffing plans, and running standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience leading project management on hyperscale data center, large industrial, or infrastructure builds, delivering fast-track projects across multiple geographies.
- Deep expertise in civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes, procurement workflows, and cost controls.
- Expertise with scheduling (P6, MS Project), cost (Procore, Ares, Excel), and collaboration (Smartsheet, Confluence) tools.
- Able to communicate clearly in writing and in person, comfortable with executives and trades alike.
- Experience building and scaling project teams across regions and time zones, traveling 50%+ to active sites as projects require.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- Construction management qualification.
- Multi-region fast-track delivery experience.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options. We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

Career Range: $160K - $260K
