Data Center Program Manager

Role Overview The role leads the construction and commissioning of data centers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include project planning, budget management, documentation, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. The role involves overseeing installation of power, cooling, networking, and cabling systems, coordinating with design teams, and managing external vendors and contractors. Key Duties Manage multi-phase data center construction projects from planning to startup.Develop schedules, budgets, and documentation to support project execution.Implement quality control and monitor compliance with design specifications.Conduct site walks, lead commissioning, and troubleshoot issues.Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project challenges.Serve as primary liaison with external vendors, contractors, and colocation providers.Collaborate on design alignment and process improvements, ensuring adherence to standards.Support continuous learning, mentoring, and process enhancements. Qualifications & Skills Experience in construction project management, preferably in data centers or similar infrastructure projects.Strong vendor management, negotiation, and contract oversight skills.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of power, cooling, networking, and cabling systems.Ability to lead quality assurance, risk mitigation, and site inspections.Proactive in continuous learning and process improvement initiatives.
