Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine procurement frameworks, sourcing models, and operational templates to support data center-related purchasing activities.
  • Lead strategic procurement efforts for data center infrastructure, equipment, and services, aligning decisions with business priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate directly with senior procurement leadership and maintain close coordination with external advisory partners to ensure effective execution.
  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate commercial terms, and manage supplier relationships across complex data center categories.
  • Create practical processes that improve consistency, transparency, and scalability within a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Provide senior-level guidance on procurement strategy by applying strong knowledge of data center operations, technologies, and facility requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to assess needs, define sourcing approaches, and support timely procurement outcomes.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and ambiguous situations while maintaining strong engagement with stakeholders and team members.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing, with significant exposure to data center environments.
  • Demonstrated success supporting procurement for large-scale data center infrastructure, operations, or related technology categories.
  • Strong understanding of data center technologies, facility needs, and operational considerations.
  • Experience working at a senior manager or director level with the ability to influence decisions and drive strategy.
  • Proven ability to build processes and bring structure to environments that may not be fully defined.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder partnership skills.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • CPMP (Certified Professional in Purchasing and Materials Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or similar certification preferred.
