We are looking for a Data Center Security Specialist to join our expanding Data Center Operations team. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and professional. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force and oversee vendor deliverables at your assigned site or campus
  • Track service delivery against established SLAs and escalate corrective actions to senior team members as needed
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with AWS security standards and policies
  • Interface with vendors to coordinate system repairs, preventative maintenance, and new security construction
  • Foster relationships with data center stakeholders to educate on security procedures and reduce false alarms
  • Review and approve operational work activities that potentially affect physical security
  • Provide guidance and support to vendors in the absence of SOPs or in situations that require escalation
  • Extract metrics and analyze data to observe trends and drive improvements in security operations
  • Collaborate with data center operations, colocation providers, and partner teams to accomplish operational consistency
  • Support the development and implementation of security processes and procedures
  • Travel between local sites as needed, up to 50% of the workweek

Requirements

Experience with various Access/Intrusion control Systems in a Control room environment

Pay

The starting pay for this position is $24.00 - $42.00 USD hourly. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

Schedule

Travel between local sites as needed, up to 50% of the workweek
