Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing multiple interrelated projects within the organization. This role partners with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product management, operations, and executive leadership—to deliver complex programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed program plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Cook up cross-project activities and ensure effective collaboration between project teams.
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, communicating progress and potential roadblocks to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Drive program reviews and ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data to improve program outcomes.
- Manage budgets and ensure efficient use of resources across assigned programs.
- Track and report program metrics, KPIs, and overall performance.
- Mentor and guide project managers and junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of program or project management experience in a technology or enterprise environment.
- Strong familiarity with project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
