Data Center Onsite Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage physical data center infrastructure including power cooling and rack systems
• Monitor environmental and operational conditions continuously
• Implement automation for monitoring and alerting
• Detect and escalate operational incidents and events
• Enforce access control aligned with identity and security policies
• Maintain system administration procedures and compliance standards
• Provide onsite support including rack installation, cabling, and hardware handling
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and operational continuity

Requirements

• 4–7 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical expertise
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in data center infrastructure management
• Experience with monitoring and automation tools
• Knowledge of access control systems and identity and access management integrations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $37,804 and $73,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
