About the role
The Data Center Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the data center facility, ensuring that all systems and processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing the technical staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical staff and ensure they are meeting performance standards.
- Maintain and upgrade data center infrastructure to meet current needs and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Manage the budget and financial aspects of the data center operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a data center environment.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Strong understanding of data center operations, including server management, network administration, and storage solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience with data center automation tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
