DATA CENTER INSTALLER

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull cables, innerduct, fire stopping, dress cables, label cables, clean fiber
• Ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as testing connections and checking equipment performance
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Carry and load materials on jobsite and maintain inventory
• Keep vehicles and equipment in clean condition
• Read and understand blueprints and diagrams
• Safety training as required by position
• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Essential Education And Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to think critically and problem solve efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate, listen effectively, and work well with customers, employees, etc.
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Experience working with telecommunications systems

Physical Demands

• Ability to climb ladders, stand, reach and hold objects for extended periods
• Must be able to work both outside and inside during the summer and winter months
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
