Key Responsibilities
- Perform storage engineering design for data center and remote site hardware refreshes.
- Recommend storage hardware solutions compatible with existing technologies.
- Develop long-term storage solutions to meet records management requirements.
- Document data center physical hardware designs (rack layouts, interconnections, power, network, lifecycle, etc.).
- Create and maintain storage configuration documentation.
- Deliver service catalog items for automated storage provisioning (Infrastructure-as-Code).
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (mandatory).
- Education & Experience: BS/BA + 5 years of relevant experience OR MS/MA + 3 years of relevant experience.
- Storage Engineering Expertise: Experience in storage engineering & integration for physical & virtual infrastructure.
- Certification: DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
Desired Qualifications
- Professional-level Storage Certification (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage).
- ITIL Foundations certification (preferred).
