Data Center Engineer
This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
About the role
We are seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus, cloud, and data center networks. You'll have the opportunity to evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, and you'll help ensure all IT equipment in our data centers runs efficiently and effectively. Our global network environment is comprised of a variety of mainstream technologies from Cisco and other vendors. You'll investigate and implement modern switching and routing platforms, configure firewall rules, and design and troubleshoot data center and WAN connectivity. With an increased focus on infrastructure as code for deployments, you'll also leverage technologies like Terraform and Ansible.
As part of a small, collaborative team, you'll be an expert who helps keep us up and running as a company so that we can help some of the nation's largest healthcare organizations improve patient care.
