Data center EHS Specialist

About the role

As a Data Center EHS Specialist at Black Box, you will oversee the safety and operational excellence of one of the largest data center construction projects in the United States. Your responsibilities will involve managing safety policies and procedures, conducting inspections, and participating in investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and delivers safety and orientation training programs.
• Inspects facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintains safety documentation including audits, inspections, PTPs, JHAs, and SDSs.
• Participates in accident and injury investigations and supports legal proceedings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in the construction industry in a similar role.
• Experience with large, structured cabling projects and/or data center construction projects.
• Experience developing and implementing safety programs, conducting hazard mitigation activities, and supporting large-scale construction projects (data center experience preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or related field, or equivalent professional certification (OSHA Outreach Trainer Certification for OSHA 10/30 Hour).
