Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, life safety, and general building (MEP Infrastructure).
  • Perform site inspections.
  • Monitor and respond to datacenter alarms.
  • Lead vendors in maintenance activities.
  • Review and approve all systems MOPs and scripts.
  • Supervise all critical maintenance activities.
  • Manage maintenance Capex and Operations budget for the site.
  • Recommend Capex projects for site efficiency and improvements.

This role is typically Monday - Friday but will require weekend work when the maintenance schedule requires and for operational emergencies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in managing a data center critical infrastructure or 5+ years' in managing critical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of medium voltage systems and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of Commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and complex schematics.
  • Computer acumen to include strong understanding of the function and application of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as well as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web-based tools.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills.

  • Digital Literacy: Uses productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Excel, ticketing systems) for communication and documentation in office or hybrid settings.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to remain in a seated position for an extended period.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. (office manuals, case notebooks, case files, case materials, standard boxes, report binders, etc.) as needed.
