About the role

Controlled Contamination Services has been a national provider of facility solutions, technical and decontamination services since 1993. Our clients are in the Life Sciences, Technology, IT, Defense, and Aerospace industries. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence and cleanliness standards of controlled environments, ensuring all surfaces meet strict cleanliness guidelines required in a data center setting.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines and monitor procedures to ensure timely and correct completion.
  • Participate in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, and performance improvement.
  • Micro-clean all surfaces within general and critical environments, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.
  • Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail, including documentation.
  • Identify deviations in cleaning and implement corrective and preventative actions (variances).
  • Review changes to SOP/SOW documentation and re-train as needed.
  • Assist in cross-training other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
  • Increased exposure to critical spaces and utilization of cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Perform all other duties as defined by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
  • Full comprehension of Scope of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Pass a background check and I-9 verification.
  • Able to learn utilization of cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers).
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
  • Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) using units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand, walk, lift/climb, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Reach with hands or arms.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Work in loud environments (e.g., manufacturing departments, large equipment areas).
