Data Architect Lead

We are working with a premier technology integrator that delivers full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets for the U.S. federal government. This organization is renowned for redefining ingenuity through its deep customer and domain knowledge, enabling the delivery of systems engineering and integration offerings for large, complex projects. The Role Own the end-to-end data strategy for a Product Line, encompassing data modeling, migration planning, ETL development, data governance, and analytics. Lead the successful migration of legacy supply chain data to modernized systems (DMLSS, LogiCole, VALIP) and integrate AI/ML-driven analytics. Develop and maintain product-specific data models and enterprise data architecture aligned with Product Line standards. Design, develop, test, and manage data tools for disparate sources, including project management plans for tool development. Implement AI/ML algorithms and Generative AI capabilities to enhance predictive forecasting and provide real-time data insights. Ensure all data architecture and migration activities comply with security, privacy, and organizational controls. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field. 13 years of total experience, with 8+ years in data architecture and data engineering, preferably with federal health IT experience. Demonstrated experience with ETL development, data migration, and data governance in large-scale enterprise environments. Proficiency with database engineering, data modeling, and specific VA legacy systems. Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, VAEC) and data pipeline tools.
