Job Summary

Join a collaborative Data & Analytics team building a modern cloud-native data platform on AWS. This hands-on Data Architect role will define the data architecture that powers Wealth Management analytics while partnering with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AWS data architecture for Wealth Management platforms.
• Build and maintain data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, and streaming pipelines.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design models for clients, households, accounts, portfolios, holdings, transactions, and advisor relationships.
• Establish enterprise standards for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
• Design regulatory reporting solutions (SEC, FINRA, Reg BI, SOX).
• Lead Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata, Cataloging, and MDM initiatives.
• Implement secure architecture with encryption, IAM, KMS, and PII/PCI compliance.
• Guide engineering teams and review technical designs.
• Evaluate AWS services based on scalability, performance, and cost.
• Support batch and real-time integrations with portfolio, CRM, custody, and market data systems.
• Enable BI, reporting, and ML/Analytics use cases.

Must-Have Skills

• 10-12+ years of Data Engineering/Data Architecture experience
• Banking & Financial Services domain
• Experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Banking, or Brokerage
• AWS Data Platform Architecture
• Data Modeling (Dimensional, Data Vault, 3NF)
• Data Lake/Lakehouse & Data Warehouse Architecture
• ETL/ELT Design
• Data Governance, Metadata, Data Quality & Lineage
• Advanced SQL & Python
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• AWS Technologies Storage & Analytics: S3, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Glue, Lake Formation
• Lakehouse: Parquet, Iceberg, Delta Lake
• Streaming: Kinesis, MSK (Kafka)
• Serverless: Lambda, Step Functions, MWAA (Airflow)
• Databases: RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB
• Security: IAM, KMS, Encryption
• BI Tools: QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI
• Nice-to-Have AWS Certifications: TOGAF, Collibra, Alation
• Nice-to-Have Financial Software: Bloomberg or Refinitiv Portfolio Accounting Systems
• Nice-to-Have Machine Learning / Advanced Analytics
• Nice-to-Have Data Mesh Architecture
