About the role
The Data Architect is responsible for designing and governing the entire data ecosystem of the Platform. Key responsibilities include establishing the enterprise data model, defining standards for data storage, designing data ingestion, processing pipelines, and data access architecture. Collaboration with GRC and security teams is crucial to ensure data governance, quality, and protection policies are integrated from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern the data ecosystem of the Platform
- Establish the enterprise data model
- Define standards for data storage (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, databases)
- Design data ingestion, processing pipelines (ETL/ELT), and data access architecture
- Collaborate with GRC and security teams to ensure data governance, quality, and protection policies are designed into the architecture
- Ensure data on the platform is FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) for advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale
Requirements
- 4 years of experience designing enterprise data architectures and models
- Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position
Skills
- Experience with data modeling and architecture
- Knowledge of data storage technologies (data lakes, warehouses, databases)
- Understanding of data ingestion, processing pipelines, and data access
- Experience with data governance, quality, and protection policies
- Strong collaboration skills with GRC and security teams

Pay
- Base pay range: $78,600—$160,200 USD
