About the role

The Data Architect / Analytics Engineer (Databricks) will design and deploy advanced analytics solutions for some of the nation's leading healthcare providers. The role requires strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience with Databricks, along with familiarity with complementary technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Work with raw data to transform it into meaningful, actionable information
  • Create and deploy analytics solutions to meet customer needs
  • Guide customers through complex, new or unfamiliar technology requirements and compile ambiguous information into actionable plans
  • Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts

Requirements

  • Strong experience in reading and writing SQL
  • Ability to write, debug and tune SQL queries
  • Deep knowledge of relational data modeling
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, similar cloud or big data platforms

Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

  • Strong experience in reading and writing SQL
  • Ability to write, debug and tune SQL queries
  • Deep knowledge of relational data modeling
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, similar cloud or big data platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry knowledge and experience
  • Experience in C#, Python, or general programming
  • Familiarity with SQL Server hardware and software configuration best practices
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services (AWS, Azure)
