We are seeking a Data Annotations Lead to join our Data team. The role involves building and leading a high-performing in-house data annotation team capable of adapting to various research experiments. Key responsibilities include defining data annotation processes, creating documentation, and managing the team's day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Build a data annotation team
• Manage the people side of data annotations
• Create documentation
• Annotate data yourself during pilot stages
• Create data annotation processes
• Vibe code data annotation tools during pilot stages

Requirements

• Clear written and verbal communication to guide data annotators
• Ownership of key stakeholders with data annotators, engineering, and support
• Excitement for the growth and development of data annotation
• Ability to prioritize competing requests, move quickly, and stay organized

Qualifications

• Intermediate level understanding of ML
• Nice to have: Previous experience leading data annotation teams, technical skills to build tools for data annotation, ability to leverage AI to improve productivity
