Data and Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
- Aid in the collection, analysis, and submission of institutional data.
- Create cyclical and ad-hoc data reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze large complex data sets to inform academic decision-making.
- Translate institutional requirements into specifications for institutional reports, analytic dashboards, and visualizations.
- Stay updated on process modifications and data collection related to academics, student services, human resources, and finance.
- Assess and provide feedback on existing processes and procedures for possible areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
- Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
- Effectively answer questions, solve problems, and escalate appropriately.
- Perform special projects and assignments as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in data analytics, statistics, computer science, information technology, financial analysis or related field).
- Experience in higher education.
- Experience with SPSS, Qualtrics, and MS Office platforms.
- Experience with Tableau and SQL (a plus).
- SPSS Statistical Programming package experience and ability to manipulate and perform statistical analyses on institutional/program data.
- Qualtrics experience with knowledge of survey question design and creation, collection analysis, and reporting.
- A strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices especially with large/complex datasets like SQL.
Education/Experience

Pay
Maximum Salary: USD $65,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary: USD $52,000.00/Yr.
