Data and Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Aid in the collection, analysis, and submission of institutional data.
• Create cyclical and ad-hoc data reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze large complex data sets to inform academic decision-making.
• Translate institutional requirements into specifications for institutional reports, analytic dashboards, and visualizations.
• Stay updated on process modifications and data collection related to academics, student services, human resources, and finance.
• Assess and provide feedback on existing processes and procedures for possible areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
• Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
• Effectively answer questions, solve problems, and escalate appropriately.
• Perform special projects and assignments as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in data analytics, statistics, computer science, information technology, financial analysis or related field).
• Experience in higher education.
• Experience with SPSS, Qualtrics, and MS Office platforms.
• Experience with Tableau and SQL (a plus).
• SPSS Statistical Programming package experience and ability to manipulate and perform statistical analyses on institutional/program data.
• Qualtrics experience with knowledge of survey question design and creation, collection analysis, and reporting.
• A strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices especially with large/complex datasets like SQL.

Education/Experience

Pay

Maximum Salary: USD $65,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary: USD $52,000.00/Yr.
