Data Analytics Platform Engineer

About the role

As a data engineer, you'll help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You'll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipeline architectures for security operations, including log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing.
• Architect detection engineering pipelines, threat hunting workflows, and automated response capabilities.
• Deploy platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments.
• Manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients.
• Use your experience in analytical exploration and data examination while guiding a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with data lake or analytics platforms.
• 1+ years of experience with defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering, or security platform architecture.

Qualifications

• Experience with Zero Trust principles, DoD and IC Cybersecurity frameworks, or federal compliance standards.
• TS/SCI clearance.

Skills

• Knowledge of stream processing or data brokering platforms such as Cribl, Kafka, Logstash, or Fluentd.
• Experience with threat detection or anomaly-based behavioral analysis.
• Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines in IL5, IL6, or IL7 environments.
• Experience with Python or scripting languages for security automation.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule
