The company is focused on delivering trusted legal services while continuing to evolve through technology, data, and customer-centric innovation.About the OpportunityThe Data Analytics Engineer contributes to the modernization and scalability of the organization’s data platform by designing and building data models, pipelines, and analytics solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Data Insights, this role transforms complex data into actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. The position collaborates with Data Analysts and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges, improve processes, and establish reliable, secure data foundations using modern cloud technologies.Responsibilities• Design and build scalable data structures and transformation workflows using DBT Cloud.• Transform raw data into business-focused semantic layers that support analysis and reporting.• Collaborate with Data Analysts to develop data models that enable self-service analytics.• Analyze data and communicate findings related to data quality, inconsistencies, and technical issues.• Develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and improve decision-making.• Optimize business processes and establish consistent core business logic within data models.• Enforce data security and appropriate access controls within data structures and models.• Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines and transformation processes.• Apply data engineering best practices to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.Requirements• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data engineering.• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with DBT Cloud.• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Spark.• Experience with AWS services, including S3, Glue, and Redshift.• Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling and schema design.• At least 1 year of experience with workflow management tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and related best practices.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.• Effective written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to travel up to 5%.Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with Tableau.• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, IBM DB2, or AWS CLI.• Experience integrating platforms such as Delighted, Zendesk, Salesforce, and AWS Aurora Databases.• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Pay Range and Compensation Package• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.Benefits & Perks• Choice of Traditional PPO or HSA healthcare plans, with employer contributions to the HSA option.• Dental and vision insurance.• 401(k) plan with company contributions and access to financial advisors.• Paid time off ranging from 23 to 39 days annually based on years of service, prorated for new hires.• Free identity theft and fraud protection.• Company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.• Corporate discounts.• Annual bonus eligibility.• Nine paid holidays.• Paid parental leave.• Parking or transit subsidy at eligible locations.• Pet insurance.• Tuition reimbursement.• Voluntary accident and critical illness insurance.• Paid volunteer day.• Employee Assistance Program.• Financial wellness resources and coaching.
