Data Analytics Engineer
About the role
Our client, a rapidly growing and private equity-backed healthcare services organization, is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to help build and expand its internal data and business intelligence capabilities. This is a 100% Remote opportunity, seeking candidates local to the DFW metroplex! The selected candidate will work closely with the data and technology leader and will become one of the company’s primary hands-on technical contributors.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain silver- and gold-layer data tables within Snowflake.
- Write advanced SQL queries to transform, model, validate, and analyze enterprise data.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions using Sigma.
- Translate business questions and reporting requirements into scalable data models and analytics solutions.
- Work directly with stakeholders across finance, operations, and executive leadership to understand reporting and data needs.
- Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and improve the reliability of analytics outputs.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience with SQL programming, including complex queries, joins, and data transformations.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports in Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
- At least 1 year of working with relational databases, cloud data warehouses, or modern analytics platforms, specifically Snowflake.
- Experience building dimensional models, curated reporting tables, or silver- and gold-layer data structures.
- Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
