We leverage data analytics to empower financial freedom through products like consolidating credit card debt, refinancing student loans, buying homes, and starting small businesses. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and management of dv01's data pipeline, ensuring efficient and scalable business logic.
  • Work closely with analysts and clients to understand and manage complex data sets, enabling strategic decision-making in responsible lending.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate new datasets and build modern analytical tools.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technologies such as dbt, Airflow, and Apache Spark to process and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Engage with clients to gather insights and requirements, translating these into actionable solutions that enhance dv01's offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in data engineering roles, demonstrated through early career achievements or a portfolio of relevant projects.
  • Expertise in Python, Scala, or Java, along with proficiency in SQL for handling and querying large datasets.
  • Experience with relational databases and the ability to design and implement effective data models.
  • Knowledge of big data processing frameworks and tools, including experience with dbt, Airflow, and Apache Spark.
  • Understanding of financial concepts and the ability to apply data analytics to solve complex problems in the structured finance industry.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Qualifications

  • Education in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
