Position Summary

The Data Analytics Developer II independently designs, develops, supports, and maintains dashboards, reports, analytical applications, and low-code solutions that transform enterprise data into actionable business insights. This role combines business intelligence development, data modeling, application development, automation, and emerging AI technologies to support decision making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical applications using Incorta and other analytics platforms.
  • Create and support business semantic models, reporting structures, and reusable analytics components.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting, dashboard, automation, and application requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and user-friendly analytics solutions.
  • Create self-service analytics capabilities and improve user access to trusted business data.
  • Participate in AI-enabled business solutions including copilots, intelligent workflows, predictive applications, and analytics automation.
  • Optimize dashboard performance, usability, visual design, and user experience.
  • Support testing, validation, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of analytics solutions.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, technical documentation, and training materials.
  • Promote best practices for visualization, usability, analytics adoption, and development standards.
  • Partner with Data Analytics Engineers to understand data models, data quality, source systems, and performance considerations.
  • Recommend improvements to reporting processes, analytics design, solution architecture, and user adoption.
  • Serve as a technical resource to junior developers, analysts, and business users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience developing dashboards, reports, business intelligence solutions, low-code applications, analytical applications, or related technical solutions.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience developing or supporting business semantic models and reporting structures.
  • Strong understanding of visualization design, reporting usability, and analytics adoption.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Incorta.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with AI and Generative AI technologies.
  • Experience with UX/UI design principles.
  • Manufacturing and ERP reporting experience.
  • Experience with dashboard performance optimization.
  • Experience supporting self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or supporting technical standards.
