Data Analytics Consultant

Location: Charlotte, NC

About the role

Perform analytics related to wires risk controls and financial crimes regulation compliance. Liaise with platform support teams representing payment initiation channels. Develop control reporting for risk, control, and audit teams. Develop a deep understanding of wires data, initiation channels, and related business processes. Lead discussions with product SMEs and business owners to resolve findings and improve processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of business analytics experience, payments risk experience, or a combination of both
• 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL code (Microsoft SQL Server or Hive)
• Experience parsing XML, delimited, and fixed-width data files
• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Reporting and analytics experience to develop data pipelines, transformations, and reports for business stakeholders
