About the Opportunity

The Data Analyst, User Analytics & Insights is responsible for enabling data-informed decisions by analyzing user behavior and business performance. This role supports either Marketing or Apps business areas by partnering with multiple teams to translate data into insights, develop reporting and dashboards, and guide experimentation efforts. The position contributes to the organization by delivering clear, actionable analysis that helps teams understand trends, test hypotheses, and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Growth, Engineering, and Business teams to analyze user engagement, conversion, retention, and performance metrics.
  • Translate business questions into analytical plans using SQL, visualization, and statistical methods.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and self-service reports for tracking key metrics.
  • Monitor core KPIs and investigate data quality or trend changes.
  • Partner with Analytics and Data Engineering to enhance data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Support experiment setup, including hypothesis development, metric selection, and sample sizing.
  • Analyze A/B test results, including segment-level performance and statistical significance.
  • Create and maintain user segments and cohorts to support analysis, experiments, and reporting.
  • Auxiliary in audience creation for marketing campaigns or app feature adoption analysis.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics, data analysis, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Experience with dashboard and visualization tools such as Hex, Tableau, Looker, Grafana, or Mode.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing concepts including hypothesis formulation, metric selection, and result interpretation.
  • Experience creating user segments or cohorts for analysis and targeting.
  • Ability to analyze funnels, retention, engagement, conversion, and campaign or app metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail and data quality awareness.
  • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage analytical requests independently and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
