About The Role
The Senior Data Analyst at MoneyGram will play a pivotal role in transforming data into strategic insights that drive business growth and enhance customer experience. This role involves reimagining analytics processes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, and collaborating across multiple teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Engineering.
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, measure product performance, and support experimentation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to influence decision-making at all organizational levels.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or similar BI platforms
- Knowledge of analytics programming languages like Python and/or R
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, experiment design, and hypothesis testing
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills for presenting insights to diverse audiences
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or direct-to-consumer businesses is preferred
- Relevant industry certifications or advanced degrees are a plus
Responsibilities
- Reinvent analytics processes by adopting innovative tools and methodologies, including AI-driven solutions
- Develop and refine dashboards and visual reports to monitor customer experience and product performance
- Analyze partner, customer, and enterprise data to extract actionable insights and identify emerging trends
- Translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Data, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to align analytics initiatives with business goals
- Champion the adoption of best-in-class analytics tools and automation processes, working closely with Engineering and Data Engineering teams
- Support experimentation and optimization efforts by designing cohort analyses and measuring feature performance
- Stay updated on emerging industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance analytics capabilities
- Document and communicate insights effectively, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams
