Data Analyst, Planning and MDM
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize datasets, planning files, and recurring reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of information.
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards, BI stories, and visualizations that communicate KPIs, performance trends, and insights for business reviews.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including demand reviews, inventory performance analysis, and SIOP-related reporting packages.
- Utilize demand forecasting tools to analyze demand patterns, forecast signals, outliers, and long-term trends.
- Identify and communicate key drivers of demand variability, product performance, and inventory risk.
- Provide analytical support for forecast accuracy improvement initiatives and planning optimization projects.
- Develop and implement automated processes using Microsoft 365 tools (Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams integrations) to streamline reporting and planning workflows.
- Evaluate existing data flows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and support digitalization efforts.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to elevate data quality, planning effectiveness, and overall operational performance.
- Partner with Planning Managers, Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management, Customer Service, and Finance to understand business needs and convert them into meaningful analytical outputs.
- Communicate insights in a clear, concise, and structured manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support internal stakeholders with ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and data-driven recommendations.
Who You Are
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Three (3) years experience in related fields
- Demonstrated advanced Excel capability, Power Query, data modeling and dashboard creation.
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable conclusions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience supporting cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with forecasting/demand-planning tools.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar).
- Background in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000 - $80,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 7% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. Belimo is a total compensation company which includes a comprehensive benefits package including a full range of medical, financial, and other competitive benefits.
