Position Overview
The Data Analyst Ops will design, develop and validate reports and metrics to measure business performance across Operations for management purposes. The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing operational data to identify performance gaps and unfavorable trends. This role will also help to improve the client experience and operational capability by presenting recommendations for process improvement projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop reports and databases utilized throughout Operations
- Build requested reports within various systems or with data from system extracts to provide to Operations leadership for analysis
- Support project teams with data collection requests and changes to existing reports and dashboards
- Identify and implement process and system improvements through an understanding of data flows and leveraging technology solutions
- Reconcile and ensure consistency of data from various sources and assist in driving the automation of reports and analytics
- Work with the team to develop and maintain recurring data analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Experience working with Power BI and other relational databases
- Experience working in CRM & Project Management tools such as Salesforce, Oracle, Monday.com, Netsuite, Zendesk
- Experience with SQL, and statistical packages (R, SAS, Ste)
- Strong MS Office skills, especially with Excel, specifically being able to import data and use pivot tables
- Understanding of report writing required
Physical requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously
