The role involves analyzing healthcare data, developing dashboards and reports, and supporting program evaluation, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities Analyze Medicaid claims, eligibility, provider, and encounter data to identify trends and anomalies.Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.Develop and validate data extracts for state and federal reporting, including CMS submissions.Support program evaluation, policy analysis, audits, and performance reporting.Collaborate with stakeholders and present actionable insights to non-technical audiences.Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow data governance standards.Document reporting logic, data pipelines, methodologies, and assumptions.Apply machine learning and statistical methods for forecasting and risk stratification where appropriate. Required Skills Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare or Medicaid.Strong proficiency in SQL/SAS and working knowledge of Python.3+ years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.Strong understanding of healthcare data, especially Medicaid or claims-based data.Excellent communication and stakeholder presentation skills. Preferred Skills Experience with state or federal healthcare programs.Knowledge of Medicaid managed care, LTSS, or waiver programs.Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or other cloud data platforms.Experience with machine learning or advanced statistical modeling.
