Data Analyst II (Finance) -- (Hybrid/Richmond, VA)

Position Accountabilities

Act as the liaison to the enterprise data warehouse program, driving digital needs and requirements for data capture and reporting.

Design, build and deploy integrated BI dashboard solutions that will be used firm-wide.

Design, build and maintain the views, rules, and adapters in OneStream to support various reporting functionality.

Create reports, extracts, etc. based on business user specifications.

Create ad hoc data warehouse queries.

Develop data feeds required for transfer to internal systems.

Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of internal systems.

Develop database diagrams.

Organizational Relationship

This position reports to the assigned functional leader.

Position Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required
• Education & Experience: Degree in the field of business administration, finance, or information systems preferred
• Experience: 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel formulas required; 5 years of experience working with SQL and writing SQL queries required; Experience working with SSIS, SSMS, SSRS, or SAS preferred; Work experience in a financial institution or related field preferred
• Knowledge & Skills: Advanced PC skills including MS Office and database applications; Very strong Excel skills; Strong understanding of Relational Database concepts; Strong understanding of SQL queries; Excellent analytical, mathematical, evaluative and problem-solving skills; Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Highly self-motivated and directed; Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under high pressure and deadlines; Understanding of basic financial statements; In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws; Strong customer service orientation; Understanding of basic Accounting principles and procedures; Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
