Responsibilities
- Leverage data, statistics, and visualization to generate actionable insights that drive value across multiple business functions.
- Utilize market-leading tools, data automation, and analytical methodologies to support reporting and performance measurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, optimize digital strategies, and provide clear recommendations for business growth.
- Build detailed reports and dashboards using various tools, designs and implements data visualizations to communicate complex data clearly.
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets for values and new opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, value opportunities and delivers solutions in partnership with digital technology and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all reports and analysis.
- Cultivate and maintain positive partnerships with teams to understand their data needs, provide insights and find improvement opportunities, and ensure reporting solutions address key objectives.
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ year as a Data Analyst with strong academic performance in a quantitative field; or strong equivalent experience
- Intermediate SQL experience writing complex queries
- Solid problem-solving, analytical skills, data curiosity, data mining, Data creation and consolidation
- Support conclusions with a clear, understandable story that leverages descriptive statistics, basic inferential statistics, and data visualizations
- Willingness to ask questions about business objectives and the measurement needs for a project workstream, and be able to measure objectives & key results
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical teams, and translate ideas between them
- Knowledge of AB Testing methods, time series, S&OP planning, Forecasting models including statistical analysis
- Experience in analytics tools such as: SQL, Excel, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, R, Domo, Adobe Analytics (or Google Analytics) and/or equivalent technologies
Qualifications

Pay
The pay range is $69,800.00 - $125,700.00. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
Schedule
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
