Data Analyst Consultant (Tableau, SQL, Python)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with Tableau, SQL, and Python to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. The candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, building interactive dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, statistical analysis, and data manipulation.
• Develop and maintain data models and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and business analysis requests.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and data visualization standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau dashboard development.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or similar libraries).
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and KPI reporting.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive analytics.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
