Data Analyst

Job Description

Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage in an engineering setting. Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems. Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business.

Responsibilities

• Works with technical developers and data scientists to define business outcomes and govern capabilities.
• Maintain a focus on supply chain design and execution to mitigate program delays, impaired customer/partner relations, inefficient Company operations, and compromised LM Aero competitive position.
• Execute and coordinate the on-boarding of suppliers into the Supplier Network Collaboration (SNC) and Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Work within defined processes to ensure suppliers meet time-sensitive goals aligned with system deployment schedules.
• Communicate the strategy and tasks associated with SNC/TMS acceptance to suppliers.
• Frequent supplier interactions including troubleshooting and assisting with SNC/TMS questions, on-boarding efforts, and issues.
• Aid in the development of status reports for leadership reviews.
• Manage and track supplier task completion, provide system access based on training completion, support team efforts to ensure security levels are met and accurate.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the supply chain management systems landscape and sourcing process is a significant plus.
• The most desired skill sets include the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build consensus, shape/influence opinion, and articulate the future state.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL, SQL Server, Data Analysis, Data Cleansing Techniques, Data Management, Data Quality Analysis, Oracle Database Management, and EWI and SAP CAMS preferred.
• MES (manufacturing execution system) experience is acceptable.
