Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret complex data sets from various sources, including sales figures, project management systems, and client feedback.
- Analyse results using statistical techniques to identify significant trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to communicate findings clearly to management and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with leadership to understand and prioritise business information needs.
- Monitor and audit data quality, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our organisational data.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to organise, analyse, and disseminate information with great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at writing queries, generating reports, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
- A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience within the construction or business services sectors would be an advantage but is not essential.
