Data Analyst and Visualization Manager
About the role
Clean Wisconsin is seeking an experienced and resourceful data expert to serve as our first Data Analyst and Visualization Manager. This is a full time, in-person position based in our Madison, Wis. office. We offer a flexible hybrid environment.
Our Data Analyst and Visualization Manager will be at the center of our new Environmental Health Initiative, which uses scientific analysis to understand how pollution affects families and communities across Wisconsin. You will analyze data sets to support our evidence-based advocacy approach and create data visualization tools like graphs, charts, maps, infographics, and GIS mapping. Your work will help us present critical data in an accessible way to tell the story of pollution, climate change and public health in Wisconsin.
We anticipate that about 50% of this position will be devoted to supporting Clean Wisconsin's science department as it analyzes and translates data to be shared with affected communities. The other 50% will be spent creating materials to support advocacy goals at the local, state and federal levels and creating content for our website, social media, and other communications. Our Data Analyst and Visualization Manager will report to the science program director.
