About the role

The Comptroller of Maryland (COM) is recruiting a Data Analyst to support COMStat, the agency's first performance management and accountability system. This is an exciting opportunity to work with data in furtherance of continuous improvement and excellence in public service.

Responsibilities

Supports COMStat activities related to data analysis, quality and develop dashboards, set data quality standards, automate data collection, cleaning and analysis processes. Coordinates the effort of developing dashboards and making data easily accessible to anyone, at any time.

Requirements

- Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work. - Substitution options: Up to four years of experience can be substituted with 30 college credit hours, a Bachelor's degree can substitute for two years of experience, a Master's degree can substitute for the required experience, and U.S. Armed Forces military service experience can substitute for the required experience.
