DAS Quality In-Process Inspector 2nd Shift - 1396
Responsibilities
A quality in-process inspector will help to insure that maintenance is performed to strict safety and airworthiness standards by conduction inspections at various stages and reviewing records. They also ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures by checking components, materials, and workmanship throughout the production or repair process. This role involves performing visual inspections, using precision measuring tools, documenting findings, and ensuring parts are correctly finished and configured.
Responsibilities include daily in-process continuity inspections of repairs/repaired components. Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Quality.
Requirements
Coordinate with Engineering for documentation of repairs that exceed repair data.
Utilize precision measuring equipment by using a variety of electronic ohm meters, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, torque wrenches, etc.
Create additional discrepancies found during the inspection processes.
Computer data entry.
Monitor and perform inspection requests made by Maintenance Technicians.
Research a variety of I.C.A. data.
Communicate discovered quality occurrences with other Inspectors/Supervisors.
Qualifications
A High school diploma or equivalent required.
An Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate/s preferred.
Skills
Navigate various computer electronic maintenance recording systems (such as Corridor).
Access a variety of Aviation OEM data portals.
Use Microsoft Windows computer systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, & internal company networking computer file systems.
