About the role
The Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) Member with experience in Finance, Human Resources, Technology & Data Management plays a crucial role in ensuring all financial and technological/communications assets are properly deployed and utilized during crisis situations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper deployment and utilization of financial and technological/communications assets.
- Work alongside the DART personnel to deploy to crisis situations in some of the toughest locations around the world.
- Deploy to dangerous places with flexible schedules and availability to extend for extended hours while on deployment.
- Work as part of a team, particularly cross-culturally, in a very fast-paced environment.
- Travel to and serve in developing countries, including unstable and insecure areas.
Requirements
- Maintain a personal relationship with and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Have 2-5 years proven work experience in applicable career fields, or a Bachelors degree from 4-year college or university or technical training in specific field.
- Able to serve within a very fast-paced environment, 7 days/week for extended hours while on deployment.
- Willingness to work in unstable, insecure areas.
Qualifications
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ; consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Proven work experience in applicable career field(s).
- Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university or technical training in specific field.
- Available on short notice for immediate 3-4-week deployment, 1-2 times/year.
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, 7 days/week for extended hours while on deployment.
- Demonstrated travel, volunteer or work experience in developing countries.
- Willingness to work in unstable, insecure areas.
