About the role

Martin Bros., the largest independent, family-owned foodservice and supply solution in the upper Midwest, is seeking dependable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers. As ambassadors of Martin Bros., Delivery Drivers play a crucial role in representing our brand through safe driving practices, accurate product delivery, and legendary customer service.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely.
• Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed.
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor, manager, or Transportation office any necessary information in a timely manner.
• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and maintain professional conduct with customers, the public, and coworkers.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and uniform requirements.
• Safely operate assigned tractor/trailer and obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Evaluate delivery sites for potential safety hazards.
• Practice Smith System driving principles and understand the use of onboard cameras.
• Maintain a driving record within Martin Bros. insurance guidelines.
• Maintain ELD logs in compliance with DOT regulations.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a good driving record is required.

Schedule

• Delivery routes typically start between 2:00–4:00 AM; some routes may begin earlier or later depending on location.
• Drivers can expect to work 10–12-hour shifts, averaging 50–55 hours per week.
• Routes are primarily day routes, Monday–Friday, with home daily.

Pay

Excellent pay with average total compensation of $80,000–$100,000 per year.
