Dance Teacher

About the role

West Valley Dance Company is seeking passionate and experienced part-time Dance Teachers to instruct our jazz, ballet, tap, and hip hop classes at our dance studios.

Responsibilities

• Create a supportive, encouraging classroom environment where every dancer can grow
• Inspire creativity, confidence, and teamwork through movement and performance
• Maintain strong communication with families and studio leadership
• Contribute to a positive studio culture rooted in passion, excellence, and community

Requirements

• Strong dance background and genuine passion for both dance and teaching
• Experience working with children and students ages 18 months-18 years (preferred)
• Energetic, creative, and encouraging approach to teaching
• Commitment to helping dancers develop both technical skills and confidence for life
• Clear and professional communication with students, families, and team members
• Reliable, professional, and collaborative team player
• Reliable transportation for travel between our Bay Area studio locations

Pay

$25-40/hr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

Schedule

Monday- Friday from 4:00- 8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am- 1:00pm.
