Dance Teacher

About the role

Children's Land is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Dance Teacher to teach dance to preschool-aged children and stage children's performances. The position runs September through May, once a week for 3 hours in the morning.

Responsibilities

• Introduce young children to basic dance concepts through play-based learning.
• Foster a love for movement and encourage creative expression.
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit different developmental levels.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate dance into classroom routines.
• Prepare children for performances.

Requirements

• Proficiency in dance (required).
• Experience working with young children (ages 3-6) in a teaching or childcare setting.
• Passion for movement education and early childhood development.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to create a joyful, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
