Dance Instructor Pool-Part-Time

Job Description

May be asked to teach days, evenings, hybrid/online and in the dual enrollment program. Online/hybrid teaching requires additional campus-based training.

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to fulfill teaching duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s in dance, physical education with a dance emphasis, or theater with dance emphasis, OR
  • Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in physical education, any life science, physiology, theater arts, kinesiology, humanities, performing arts or music
  • Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area
  • The equivalent

Salary Range

$1572.67 - $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 - $1380.60 per lab unit rate
